Early Spring

"Early Spring" 2022 by J Raetsen was inspired by an unusually hot spring day in Haliburton watching the bees flock to a yet to be planted apple tree. In the course of one weekI was able to watch the blooms go from buds to fully falling off the tree.
  
It was created with wool and is framed it in a double matted display frame to best show the 3 dimension and textures of the natural wool fibres I used. The frame measures 13"x13".
