ABOUT

Canadian artist

Jennifer Raetsen was born in Richmond Hill Ontario and studied Graphic Design at George Brown College in Toronto. She began creating felted artworks using merino wool during the pandemic as a way to cope with the world-wide isolation. Since then, her work has been juried into over 30 shows across Canada and the US and has won multiple awards.

She continues to develop her artistic practice creating art that reflects her ideas around honouring nature while living in our ever-expanding urban environment and asking how that expansion affects our humanity and understanding of the importance of nature.

Jennifer lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
