ABOUT

Canadian artist

Using wool and needle, Jennifer transforms landscapes and natural forms into tactile compositions that capture both the visual beauty and emotional resonance of nature. Each piece becomes a meditation, preserving the essence of a specific time and place.

Through this practice, Jennifer embarks on a journey of exploration, discovery, and connection with the environment, allowing the natural world to guide the creation of each piece. The medium itself invites closer examination, encouraging deeper engagement through its distinct texture and process.

While the materials are significant, the true focus lies in the experience itself—an invitation to reflect and discover those often-overlooked details all around us. Jennifers' aim is to inspire others to find their own moments of connection around them.

She continues to develop her artistic practice creating art that reflects her ideas around honouring nature while living in our ever-expanding urban environment and asking how that expansion affects our humanity and understanding of the importance of nature.

Jennifer was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario and studied Graphic Design at George Brown College in Toronto. Her work has been juried into over 30 shows across Canada and the US and has won multiple awards.

Jennifer lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
