ABOUT

Canadian artist

I create textured landscapes using wool to express how I physically and emotionally experience nature.

While the work may feel calm at first, it holds an underlying tension shaped by my experience with mental health. Creating beauty becomes a way of moving through difficulty, where comfort and unease coexist.

The work does not resolve these ideas but holds space for stillness and tension, inviting reflection on emotional cycles where sadness and joy gradually transform into one another.

And finally, a familial inheritance of textile-making emerges instinctively, as if the material itself carries history and knowledge, offering the comfort of knowing that I am home.

I was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario and studied Graphic Design at George Brown College in Toronto. My work has been juried into over 40 shows across Canada and the US and has won several awards.

I currently work out of my home studio in Toronto, Canada.
